Into The Void Podcast: Episode 23 - To Kill Achilles' Recovery

In the next episode of Into The Void, I talk with the post-hardcore/alternative rock band, To Kill Achilles. We talk about the formation of their band, the transition from hurting to acceptance, their new album and chapter in their careers, 'Recovery,' and more!

Throughout the years, Scottish post-hardcore/alternative rock band To Kill Achilles has long since embraced their unbridled honesty and hardships within their career from 2013's Existence to 2021's Something To Remember Me. Within those albums, To Kill Achilles have told stories about channeling the hell of our existence into musical expression.

“This record is the antithesis of the last, for far too long we’ve told the story of mental degradation without hope. Becoming completely drained repeating the same lines of how it hurts to be here, Recovery deals with courage, control, acceptance and ultimately the end goal that anyone in this circumstance seeks… the other side. This record is the journey of getting better, taking control of your life and the experiences around you.”

Since then, the juggernauts have turned a new page with their latest cathartic and hopeful release, Recovery. Although many of their releases are well-written and painful accounts of depression, loneliness, and harsh truths, Recovery speaks about courage, control, acceptance, and ultimately the other side that anyone in this circumstance seeks.

We talk about all of this and more in the latest edition of Into The Void!
