From her humble beginnings on YouTube as a cover artist to contributing her skills to over three other bands, vocalist Lauren Babic embarks on a new chapter in her career as a solo artist with the self-release of her debut EP, Too Much, Never Enough.

Lauren Babic has become synonymous with the metalcore world as one of the most talented vocalists in recent years. The Toronto native, now living in Nashville, Tennessee, is no stranger to fame. Her reimagining of pop songs into heavy metal treasures would garner her popularity within the YouTube world from such endeavors. As her reputation has grown over the years, her talents have found their way to three other bands, Red Handed Devil, and international supergroups, Crazy EightyEight and SKYLIMIT, now the emerging heavy metal titan gears up for the release of her highly anticipated solo EP, Too Much, Never Enough.

Produced by Adam Bently (Arch Echo and Plini) and Lee Albrecht (Hollow Front, Silverstein, and The Devil Wears Prada), Lauren Babic explores all facets of her songwriting and vocal abilities. Her solo EP not only showcases her talent lyrically but also as a vocal leviathan that can hold up with some of the best modern talent in the industry.

In the opening tracks, “Sanctuary” and “Breathed You In,” Babic brilliantly unveils her melodic artistry, crafting a tender yet melancholic atmosphere that showcases her remarkable talent. Instrumentally melding a fierce barrage of angry guitar riffs with moments of introspective, atmospheric bliss, all underpinned by Babic's stunningly pure vocals, this striking combination serves as a captivating introduction to her sound, hinting at the rich musical landscape she is poised to explore beyond her side projects within other bands.

"I'm Bored" is a thrilling detour on the EP that illustrates Babic's vocal prowess, offering a refreshing surge of energy that elevates her artistry to exhilarating new heights. With remarkable dedication, she explores and unveils an array of intense screaming techniques, each adding depth to the experience. "I'm Bored" not only showcases Babic's impressive vocal strength but also affirms her versatility across a wide spectrum of rock genres. Throughout the performance, she captivates listeners by creating one of the most engaging and unforgettable high-octane moments on the EP, proving that she can seamlessly blend intensity with melody, making "I'm Bored" an unforgettable addition to her debut solo effort.

"Let It Die" serves as a poignant conclusion to this mini journey through Babic's musically introspective exploration, expertly highlighting the full spectrum of her remarkable vocal talents. An experience coated with emotional depth, the EP's closing track draws listeners into its rich and gritty soundscapes, leaving them captivated and yearning for the next chapter in Babic's artistic evolution.

Impressively, "Let It Die" lends its multi-faceted achievements to a closing chapter, bringing Too Much, Never Enough's narrative of pain, indifference, and the quest for closure to the for front of this experience. Its caustic guitar riffs intertwine seamlessly with delicate melodies, while Babic's poignant lyricism weaves these emotionally charged concepts together, enveloping them like a weighted blanket. This careful layering of sound and sentiment creates an immersive experience that encourages listeners to reflect on the complexities of human emotions and the relationships that surround us all.

For an EP, Too Much, Never Enough makes an unforgettable impression, marking a powerful debut for the solo artist. With its compelling blend of rich instrumentals and soaring vocals, this release not only highlights the artist's impressive vocal range but also underscores her creative vision.

This initial offering hints at a wealth of artistic depth yet to be explored. If this is merely a sneak peek of what the solo artist has in store, the future promises to be vibrant and teeming with innovative musical journeys waiting to unfold.
